Hello fellow Splinterlands summoners! I’m back again to join the weekly challenge, and this time the spotlight is on a brand new exclusive card: **Tasoshi Drakamoto**. But this isn’t just any promo card. She’s an **Epic** card from the **Fire** element, belonging to the **Drakoshan** race. And what’s even more interesting—she’s a **female character**, which adds a refreshing twist.

Personally, her name reminds me of *Satoshi*, closely tied to Bitcoin. Maybe it’s a subtle nod, especially now that the crypto market feels a bit sluggish. Regardless, promo cards are usually either **Legendary** or **Rare**, but Tasoshi brings a breath of fresh air with her promising **Epic** rarity. That said, I haven’t bought her yet. I’m still strategizing the best way to make use of this card. Realistically speaking, her market price is still high, and I’m betting it will drop to a more reasonable range in the coming weeks.

Looking at her **abilities** and **stats**, Tasoshi Drakamoto is extremely flexible. With **3 magic damage**, **6 health**, and **2 armor**, along with **Sneak** at max level, she can deal consistent backline damage. Even at level 1, she’s already dangerous enough to target enemies in the rear.

At **level 3**, she gains **Inspire**, which gives all your melee units +1 melee damage. That’s what makes Tasoshi really exciting—pair her with **Tarsa**, and your melee team gains a total of +2 melee damage! Add to that some strong neutral foundation cards unlocked from the campaign, and you’ve got a lethal combo.

Imagine **Vengeful Monk**—who can strike from anywhere thanks to **Opportunity**—shredding enemy defenses with all those buffs. And it’s not just Monk; any melee unit becomes a real threat when Inspire stacks.

Interestingly, I want to highlight **when not to use Tasoshi Drakamoto**. One such case is the **Magic Reflect** ruleset, which punishes magic attackers. In such situations, forcing a magic-heavy lineup could backfire. So while Tasoshi is powerful, reading the ruleset and predicting your opponent’s plan is still key.

What if Fire isn't available? No problem—thanks to the **Bloodline system**. If you own **Kavor Skarn**, the Dragon archon who can summon Drakoshan race units even without Fire, you can still bring Tasoshi into battle!

This could really catch opponents off guard—many may not even realize that this Epic card can be summoned by a non-Fire archon.

To close this article, I’ll say this: some promo cards are worth owning even if you only have one copy. And Tasoshi Drakamoto is definitely one of them. While she **seems overpowered**, I believe she’s not for every player. With a cost of 250 Vouchers per copy, many mid-level and beginner players might settle for just 1 BCX for Bronze or Novice tournaments. But as time goes on and the meta evolves, Tasoshi could very well become a key piece in many strategies. I’m still weighing whether to save up vouchers to try my luck at getting a gold foil, or just buy one when I can afford it. Time will tell.
